The oil don’t work for you?

Have this situation ever happened to you?
You read and heard so much about the benefits of an essential oil, you buy it and apply it BUT it doesn’t work for you!!!!!
If you have encountered this situation, I want to reassure you that you are not the only one. However, it doesn’t mean the essential oil is useless or not suitable for you.
Young Living essential oil are natural, they are distilled/extracted from plants. They need time to work, unlike man-made creations that work instantly with possibly some side effects. When trying out any new essential oil, give it at least 90 days.
What? 90 days? I have to wait so long?
Actually during this time, the essential oil is already working on your body. However the improvement/change could be so small that you didn’t notice. As you use longer, the improvement/change becomes more noticeable.
Increase the frequency of your usage
If you want the oils to work hard, repeat application every 20 minutes. Because when you apply a drop of essential oil on your oil, it takes 20 minutes for the oil molecules to reach every part of your body. Hence you want to keep supplying your body with the essential oil molecules for it to work optimally. Any oil that your body do not need will be expelled through perspiration and urination.
Even when you don’t need the oils to work that hard, apply the essential oil several times a day. If you just apply once a day, you are not giving the oils enough time to work.
There is also this situation that your body do no need this essential oil, instead it needs another essential oil. Everyone’s body is unique, so it may work for me but will not work for you.
So, how do you know what oils do your body need?
Trial and error. Rotate the oils. For example, Lavender, Tranquil, Ylang Ylang, Stress Away, Peace & calming and etc are good for relaxation. If I use Lavender, and I don’t feel myself relaxing, then I try another oil. Until I find something that is suitable for me. Again, don’t just use for 1 time or 1 day. Use it several times, for several days before you rotate to try another oil.
Or you can get an Itovi Scan or Zyto Scan which tells you what your body needs.

How do I store essential oils?

NEVER use plastics or styrofoam containers to store essential oils. Essential oil will ‘eat’ the plastics and styrofoam, because they are consider non-natural substances and essential oils will try to get rid of the unnatural stuff.
ALWAYS use glass containers when you can, preferably dark color glass, to filter out sunlight.
For blending of essential oils, high grade stainless steel containers can be used too. Avoid aluminium though.
Remember to keep them in a cool place, out of sunlight, and out of reach from children and pets.

PV Rebates and Longevity Rewards

PV Rebates
There are 3 stages of PV rebates:
10% for month 1 to month 3
20% for month 4 to month 24
25% for month 25 and onwards

Longevity Rewards 
Young Living will be giving it quarterly for the first year and annually subsequently.

Some of you might want to know how it will affect the 2 benefits if we would like to skip the Essential Order for 1 or more months.

Let’s say I’m at my month 8 now and I’d like to skip my order on month 9, what will it happen to my PV rewards and longevity freebies when I place ER order again on month 10??

• My PV rebate will start again from 10% instead of 20%

• I will not be getting my longevity freebie upon process of my so called month 10 order since I skip month 9 order. Both the PV rebate and longevity freebie will be restart from month 1.

Since the program is restarted, will I still get the 3rd n 6th month freebies again? 

No. In order for me to get my longevity freebies, I’ll need to make consecutive 9 months ER to get my 9th month freebie and will not get the 3rd and 6th month freebies as I have get it before. This rules apply for the annually longevity freebies ad well.

I’m at my month 15th of ER and I’d like to make USA ER order and skip SG ER, again how will it affect the 2 benefits?

• There is no affect on the PV rewards, I’ll still getting my 20% PV rebates as the order is under ER.

• In order for me to get my 24th month longevity freebie, I will need to place 24 months ER consecutive or I do not skip my 15th month SG ER and place both USA and SG ER within the same month.

Summary:
There will not have any impact to the PV rewards so long as I place ER order monthly, be it in SG or USA.
 
I will have to place monthly ER for SG if I want to get the quarterly and annually longevity freebies.

For those who joined YL ER program on Sept 2016 or before, you will get your old quarterly longevity freebies quarterly start counting from the month you join, while for the new longevity freebies, it will start counting from Oct 2016.

What’s an Enroller and a Sponsor?

Enroller? Sponsor? What?
Every Young Living member will have an enroller and a sponsor. You could have the same person as your enroller and sponsor, or you can have 2 different people.
What does Enroller and Sponsor means to you as a member?
Enroller – This is the person who enrolled you to start using Young Living products and start your Young Living journey. So likely this is the person who explained membership and recommended products for your 1st few purchase.
Sponsor – This is the person who is also known as your upline, your sponsor is suppose to guide and support you throughout your Young Living journey. Your 1st line of support.

What does it means to my Enroller and Sponsor?

For the Enroller
In the 1st 3 months of enrolling a new member, the enroller enjoys the fast start bonus (25% commission) from the new member purchases.
Example:
Annie enrolls Candy. Candy purchases 200pv monthly in the first 3 months
Annie earns 200pv x 25% x 3 months = US$50 x 3 months = US$150

For the Sponsor
While the sponsor get reduced unilevel bonus for 3 months, reduced to 30%. For level 1 downlines, normal unilevel bonus is 8%, reduced unilevel bonus is 2.4%. In the 4th month, your sponsor will enjoy the full 8% unilevel bonus
Example:
Annie is Candy’s enroller, while Bernard is Candy’s sponsor.  Candy purchases 200pv monthly in the first 3 months
Bernard earns 200pv x 8% x 30% x 3 months = US$4.80 x 3 months = US$14.40
When your enroller and sponsor is the same person, he/she earns both the fast start bonus and the unilevel commission.
What does it means to my Enroller and Sponsor when I enroll someone?
For the enroller
Young Living is very generous to the Enroller! When you enroll a new member, you enjoy the level 1 fast start bonus (25% commission) for 3 months, while your enroller enjoys the level 2 fast start bonus (10% commission) for 3 months!
Example:
So Candy enrolls Dennis, and Dennis purchases 200pv monthly in the first 3 months. Note that Annie is Candy’s enroller.
Candy earns 200pv x 25% x 3 months = US$50 x 3 months = US$150
Annie earns 200pv x 10% x 3 months = US$20 x 3 months = US$60

For the sponsor
The sponsor will get reduced unilevel bonus from your new enrollment in the 1st 3 months. For level 2 downlines, normal unilevel bonus is 5%, reduced unilevel bonus is 1.5%.

You know that Young Living USA has ALL the products, while Singapore, Malaysia and other country offices probably only have a subset of the most popular Young Living products available.

Why?? Because USA is the headquarters!!

Want to order some products from USA but do not know how to do it?

Here you go!

Login to NVO with your username and password.

At the top part of the page, click on the flag to select USA flag.

It will prompt you a message, click “Accept”.

Choose either Essential Rewards or Standard Order.

For Standard Order, after you select the products, click “Check Out”

Select your shipping method and click “Next Step”.

You can either ‘pay’ by your Essential Rewards Points, which is the PV we earn from our monthly ER order, or by Credit Card. Click “Next Step” and your order is complete!

 

For Essential Rewards order, the steps will be the similar.

Common questions on YL USA orders

If you are unsure how to go about buying Young Living products from USA, Kai Ling helps to address some common questions about USA orders.

My YL account is registered under Singapore, can I order from USA?
Yes! You can! We are allowed to place ER order from our own registered country and also from USA.

Example. I registered my YL membership with Singapore, I can always place ER order from both Singapore and USA. However, if I go HK for holiday and would like to get some YL products over there, I can only get it under SO and no PV rebate is given.

To make your USA order more $$ worth, I will recommend to place ER order so you will get the PV rebate and also enjoy the exclusive ER freebie.

How much is the shipping cost?
The min shipping fee starts from USD29, before tax. It means that if you are only getting 1 bottle of 5ml essential oil from USA, you will still be charged USD29 + tax for the shipping. In order to make the shipping cost worth, I do suggest you consolidate whatever you want and try to hit 190PV as the 1st tier freebies from USA is at 190PV. You will be able to reduce the shipping fee per item and still get the freebies, isn’t it more $$ worth??

I have so many items want to order and the 2nd and 3rd tiers freebies are at 250PV and 300PV which I can easily hit, can I place order with more than 300PV?
YES, you can always do that, but please bear in mind that if your order exceed SGD400, Singapore custom will be charging 7% GST on the parcel which inclusive of item costs, shipping costs and retail cost of the freebies. Other than that, Fedex will charge an admin fee (SGD10 at the time of writing) too. The bill will be mailed to you 3-4 weeks after you receive the parcel.

Why I can’t find a particular product in YL USA NVO??
There are 2 possibilities:

a) If the product you are looking for is available in the country your account is registered, you can’t order it from USA.
b) There are some YL products that cannot be shipped in because of our country regulations. Example, hormonal products cannot be shipped in.

Why are my promotional free gifts missing???
If the promotional free gift is an item that is available in the country your account is registered, YL USA can’t send the item to you. They will credit the item equivalent PV to your YL account in the subsequent month.

What I should do if the item I order is not in the parcel?
You can check from your order history to see if the item will be shipped in separate shipment due to shortage of stock. No worry, they won’t charge you for double shipping cost. Another way is you can do a live chat to find out what is going on and when you will be receiving the missing item.

What happens if the essential oils leak in my USA shipment?
We are supposed to check within 5 days if our USA shipment is received in good condition. Within this 5 days, you can do a live chat or email international support to request for a replacement. Most of the time, YL USA will replace and ship it to us at no-cost.

Can I use my YL commission to offset my ER order payment?
YES, however, you can only do this either through email or live chat.

If I want to order something from other countries other than USA, what can I do since I have no access to the NVO?
You can either call or email to them to check out. The contact of each YL subsidiaries can be found their webpage.

Can I use my PV to redeem products from USA??
YES. To redeem product using PV, you need to select Standard Order.

There will be this small icon for items can be redeemed using PV.

Will I be receiving the same items from USA for the subsequent months if I choose to order under ER?
Yes. However, you can always login to NVO to change the items from month to month if you would like to continue with the ER order.

What should I do if I do not wish to continue with USA ER order?
You can always do a live chat or email custservsingapore@youngliving.com to get the customer service officer to remove the template for you.

Congratulations for deciding to sign up as a Young Living member and to start using the products!! The sign-up is a simple 5 steps process. Before we start, you do need a few things (other than electronic device and internet), your list of products to order and your credit card information.

Step 1: Getting to the Sign-Up Page

Select your shipping method, either will-call (self collection) or TaQBin (courier delivery). For will-call, do collect your purchase at Young Living office within 2 working days. Young Living will courier out your purchase to you after that, and delivery charges will be incurred.
